Understanding our payout process could help make your registration stress free.
Scholarship awards are paid directly to the college or university at which you will be a student. Payouts can only be done after verifying that you have been accepted and will be enrolled full-time at an accredited institution within the United States for the upcoming semester. Scholarship awards can be used towards academic expenses including tuition, room and board, or books.
Your scholarship is a one-time award. Based on verifiable expenses, we may offer the option to use the full award in the fall or pay half for the fall and spring semesters. We do not offer scholarship deferments for additional years, but award recipients are eligible to apply again.
The Rainey Day Foundation will only make payments in the Fall and Spring semesters. No accommodations will be made for winter and summer sessions.
